4.1 Where We Store Data

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, with primary infrastructure in the United States and European Union. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

4.2 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
  • Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
  • Row-level security (RLS) ensuring you only access your own data
  • Regular security audits
  • Access controls and authentication requirements

4.3 Data Retention

Active accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active.

Deleted accounts: We delete your data within 30 days of account deletion.

Soft-deleted records: Client records you “delete” are soft-deleted (hidden but recoverable) to preserve order history integrity.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Export

You can access all your data through the Tailara dashboard. Growth and Premium plans include data export functionality.

5.2 Correction

You can update your personal and business information at any time through Settings.

5.3 Deletion

You can request account deletion by contacting us at privacy@tailara.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we need to retain data for legal or legitimate business purposes.

5.4 Communication Preferences

You can manage notification preferences in your account settings. Note that we may still send essential communications about your account and subscription.

5.5 Cookie Preferences

Essential cookies are required for Tailara to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. International Data Transfers

If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

7. Children's Privacy

Tailara is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
